Shamit has worked within the insurance and personal financial planning arena since 1989, originally based in North London where he ran an insurance company, Risk Insurance Consultants, with his business partner.
His skills are wide ranging including advising on both general insurance and financial planning.
Shamit now has the role of Development Director and is tasked with strengthening the Group strategically whilst maintaining its enviable reputation for service excellence and quality of advice.
Shamit is also head of Human Resources at the office and works closely with management and staff to achieve core objectives.
Shamit’s key strengths include his solid understanding of commercial and general insurance, and his communication and organisation skills. He is highly respected and well liked by his clients and contacts alike and he attributes this to his ability to build and maintain long-team, professional relationships.
Shamit is married to Rena and has 2 children. When not in the office, Shamit enjoys entertaining, travelling and investing in the property market both in UK and abroad. Oh and his latest fad is going to the gym to get fit and healthy!
