Vijay started his career in the insurance services sector in 1978, when he worked for the Legal and General Group as an underwriting clerk. He then moved to an insurance brokerage where he substantially increased his company’s turnover. In 2000, he left for pastures new.
Vijay is experienced in the many aspects of insurance planning and insurance accounting and he brings a broad range of skills to the IS Group.
In 2000 Vijay, along with fellow directors Bram Vyas and Sanjai Patel, establised Insurance Solutions, later merging with Risk Insurance Consultants in 2002.
As a result Shamit Malhotra and Rohit Malhotra joined the Board of Directors, further expanding the Group’s expertise.
With a focus on old-fashioned customer care and service excellence, the group has grown to become one of the leading brokerages in the North Thames area.
The IS Group is highly regarded by insurers and clients alike and with careful planning, underpinned by its commitment to its clients, it will develop and expand in the coming months and years.
Vijay is married to Priti and has 3 children. When not in the office, Vijay enjoys playing and following cricket and most other sports. He enjoys watching films, listening to music and he has a passion for cars.
